2014 VMA Hairstyles that Rocked the Red Carpet… Virgin Hair Extensions and All
There were many great looks that graced the 2014 VMA Red Carpet. There are a few that deserve honorable mentions. These six celebrity Goddesses had great looking 2014 VMA hairstyles and outfits that complimented each other pretty well.
6 Rockin’ Celebrity Goddess VMA Hairstyles
VMA Hairstyles: Iggy Azalea – The Slick Do
Iggy Azalea has definitely been on a roll this year. The 24-year old Australian Rapper has been topping charts, not only in the music scene, but also in fashion, as well. During the 2014 VMA’s, Iggy decided to rock a sleek fashion-forward hairstyle and she totally pulled it off.
The fact that she opted for minimal make-up really helped her natural beauty shine through. Guess it is true what they say… sometimes, less….is more.
VMA Hairstyles: Solange Knowles – Hair, Hair and MORE Hair
Solange Knowles, unlike Iggy, decided that it was either go big, or go home. She looked beautiful in this voluminous look. She decided to mix it up with red mascara and a blue and black suit she wore from H&M.
But, some aren’t really feeling the Diana Ross/Just-Rolled-Out-of-Bed mane. Is it a wig, virgin hair extensions, or a natural wash n’ go?
VMA Hairstyles: Kylie Jenner- Keeps It Simple, but Sexy
Kylie Jenner looked beautiful in her long flowing black silk gown with a risqué slit. She wore her hair down, with waves flowing down to her shoulders. She topped the look off with bold brows, long lashes and mauve lipstick.
The young Ms. Jenner definitely stole the attention away from her sisters. And, she’s definitely keeping up with Kim and her trademark virgin hair extensions.
VMA Hairstyles: Uzo Aduba – Tames Her Mane
The Orange is the New Black actress is usually wearing her hair in a puffy natural style most of the time. She opted to go straight during the 2014 VMA show. The actress better known as “Crazy Eyes” may have been wearing natural hair. But, it looked like virgin hair extensions with a simple blunt, shoulder-length cut.
Uzo Aduba paired up her look with a chic black dress that had a silver waistline with a matching design at the shoulders. She wore a pair of golden heels. Aduba complimented her radiant features with deep red lipstick and Smokey eye shadow to complete the look.
VMA Hairstyles: Nicki Minaj – Tones It Down
The “Anaconda” Hip Hop rapper decided to keep it simple. This is a serious contrast, compared to her “colorful” virgin hair extensions and wigs from the past. She dazzled in classic curls that had an old-Hollywood feel to them. Ms. Minaj even had her hair parted on the side.
Though her hair was understated and simple, her fierce, her tight anaconda print dress added some spice to the overall look. Nicki Minaj kept the make-up natural, which surprisingly suited her pretty well.
VMA Hairstyles: Kelly Rowland – Dazzles in Grecian Look
Pregnant and all, Kelly Rowland looked dazzling and was positively glowing as she opted for a large, thick halo braid. The braid allowed her auburn highlights to show through the dark strands. Even though the braid was neatly done, it still had an “unkempt” feel to it. Duplicating this do would take super-long virgin hair extensions.
Ms. Rowland completed the look by highlighting her eyes with bold, natural looking lashes. She topped that off with rosy pink lips and champagne colored eye shadow that really made her eyes pop. Her makeup really complimented her champagne colored gown beautifully.
Kelly was clearly glowing as she cradled her baby bump throughout the entire show. Her dress accentuated her pregnant physique very well. It was definitely a classic look that was a perfect choice for her.
